At least two people died after a shooting at a study center belonging to Texas A&M University in the city of Commerce, northwest of Dallas.
At the moment, the police did not communicate the identities of the victims and it is unknown if they are students, teachers or residents of the area. In addition there is another injured in the hospital.
"All students, faculty and staff must take shelter in their place until further notice. All classes are canceled for the rest of the day and night on the A&M-Commerce campus," says a statement from the university itself .
The research is focused on Pride Rock, a three-story mixed residence for freshmen. Classes were canceled for the rest of the day and it is unknown at the time if the shooter is still free or was arrested.
