At least 17 civilians, including children, were killed Thursday in bombings by the Syrian regime or its Russian ally targeting several areas of northwestern Syria, dominated by jihadists, according to a new report by the Syrian Observatory of human rights (OSDH).

Among the victims were "ten civilians killed in a Russian raid on the eastern outskirts of the city of Idleb," according to OSDH director Rami Abdel Rahmane. The other victims perished elsewhere in Idleb province or in the neighboring region of Aleppo, in artillery or air strikes by the regime or its Russian ally, the source said.
