Kössen - A fatal skiing accident has occurred in Kössen (Tyrol). A 5 3-year-old German drove towards the valley station on the Unterberg exit in the afternoon and was already braking. At the same time, a 1 4-year-old skier was traveling from the practice slope towards the valley station. At the point where both runs meet, there was a collision, as reported by the Tyrolean daily newspaper. Both skiers fell and stayed on the slopes.

The man's relatives immediately gave first aid. He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and was resuscitated on site by the emergency team. However, all help came too late, the man died at the scene of the accident. The 14-year-old was flown to Kufstein Hospital with injuries.
