Winter sports: ski accidents are increasing on the slopes

With 143,112 injured in 2019, their number increased by almost 5% in a decade, despite a large investment by stations in security.


While the first vacationers from Zone C (Paris, Toulouse, Montpellier, Versailles and Créteil) are getting ready to hit the ski slopes this Saturday - often after a long trip and without necessarily having exercised during the year -, the doctors draw the alarm signal on the risk of accidents.
