The United States administration has expressed concern over a possible outbreak of the North Korean corona virus, saying it is prepared to ease state sanctions to prevent it from spreading. Foreign Ministry spokesman Morgan Orgettos said the United States is "very concerned" about the danger of the spread and that it supports efforts by aid groups to contain the spread of the virus in North Korea.
"We support and encourage the work of American and international aid and health organizations in preventing the spread of the corona virus. The United States is ready to facilitate and quickly approve the assistance of these organizations," he said.
