A rain of petitions

Here is another language coined in the lexicon of politics: "The Jews defeated the Israelis." This statement broke into discourse in 1996, after Netanyahu was elected prime minister for the first time. The person who coined it was Shimon Peres, after his loss. In his statement, Peres wanted to say that everything belonging to Israelis was defeated by the "inferiors", the Jews. The Israelis, meaning "the good ones", were the ones who deserved victory.

This form of blatant equation returns these days: Former Air Staff members, and those who served in the General Staff Patrol or the 13th Cruiser, are, and maybe only are, thought they deserve victory in the elections. After all, they are reserve soldiers in the elite units! On Netanyahu, if and when, the work of the government train was revealed to many by their arrogant personality. He only went down to the people; to hoard more and more votes, for example, he ordered a re-examination of taxi fares, which drivers say was hurting their livelihoods. Each side and its elite unit: Air crews vs. taxi drivers.

But in voting, each petitioner will receive only one envelope from the ballot committee. Teach you: The voice of the citizen, even a soldier in a patrol patrol, is equivalent to the voice of a taxi driver. And that is equal to both the voice of a prime minister. And if he reiterates Peres's statement in 1996: maybe this time the Jews are also better off to beat the (arrogant) Israelis. Because here, in line at the polling station, the votes of three chiefs of staff (res.) Are equal to three votes of active duty taxi drivers.

Petition signers are also ignoring the growing political fabric as petitioners and signatories are called: "The Dukes Party." Its members who look at the headlines made by squadrons and patrol veterans have been ostracized from the printed petitions, and many of them also belong to the IDF reserve units. They serve in the military rabbinate reserve, or are high-ranking veterans, or technicians in the armor workshops. But the petitions may be nearing the day when the voices of the pseudonyms would be inferior to the notes of the ex-patrolmen.

This impression seems to be the most assimilated among voters. Almost said, the signatories consider themselves supreme, and blue blood political blood flows through their veins. And by the way, there are still innocent people preaching unity, mending the rifts in the people and more noble reconciliation actions for the next government. Realizing these marked goals will not be helpful, to say the least, huge. On Election Day, the voter, whether he was a taxi driver or an air crew member, did not need to look at another petition. He only needed judgment. And no petition would dictate to him any note of laziness.

"The Jews beat the Israelis"? It is better to say that "the ballots will win the petitions."
