The budget for the 23rd Knesset Election Commission jumped 42 percent in one year. In February, the Central Election Commission approved a budget increase of NIS 66 million to NIS 402 million. And last week, the finance committee approved the request.
Remember, in the 22nd Knesset, the budget available to the Election Commission was NIS 329 million and at the end of the procedure it would be NIS 336 million, while the budget for the 21st Knesset was NIS 283 million.
