IDF Election Propaganda: Mayor Geir's Program Director Maya Gayer was summoned for a clarification call that was rebuked, after calling on soldiers not to vote in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's election - this was revealed on Sunday in the "First Source" newspaper.

Gayer, who is considered one of the station's top executives and one step below the head of the GPL program, sent an e-mail last week to the department's soldiers, which uses the acrostic writing method (using the first letter of each sentence to create a word or phrase), to urge soldiers not to vote Netanyahu said in an email:

As mentioned, the first letters of the lines in this e-mail form the sentence: "Just not Bibi," and therefore constitute a prohibited election propaganda.

A station official told the "first source": "This is a condescending text that would have been unwritten. A station official, with authority over soldiers, cannot afford to say so even if it was supposedly humorous."

IDF detectives said in response: "The IDF commander sees the message, which goes against electoral propaganda. Following that, the worker was called for an inquiry, which in the end was rebuked and apologized for. "
