PM's Representatives Claim That The Prosecutor's Office Has Not Delivered The Investigative Materials for the Opening of the PM's Trial, which is scheduled to begin next week • In the past, Netanyahu's attorneys have refused to submit their response to the prosecutor's office on similar grounds • Evaluation: Request Accepted

Way to reject Netanyahu's trial? Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's lawyers filed a request this morning (Sunday) to postpone the opening of the prime minister's trial, because they claim they did not receive all the investigative material from the prosecutor's office.

It is currently estimated that the acceptance will be accepted, and Netanyahu's trial will be rejected for failure to transfer the materials.

As we recall, in early February, Netanyahu's attorneys refused to respond to the indictments filed against him in files 1,000, 2,000 and 4,000, because the prosecution did not deliver all the materials to them without the necessary permits.

Prior to that, the State Attorney's Office filed a request for secrecy over some of the materials in the prime minister's files on the grounds that they were intelligence materials. The decision means that the materials will not be handed over to Netanyahu's defense team. The Prosecutor's Office asked the court to grant a 45-day extension for the certificate to be issued. The Likud then argued that the extension request indicates the "haste" of the prosecutor's office in filing the indictment, and, more importantly, claimed that the indictment without a certificate of privilege has grounds for revocation.

Representatives of the Allovich spouses, who are suspected of file 4,000, also complained about the prosecution's conduct, claiming that the conduct was intended to establish facts without the court's approval, calling the request for secrecy a default.
