Nearly 800 new cases of patients infected with the new coronavirus have been detected in France and the epidemic has so far killed 79 people in the country, announced Friday the Minister of Health Olivier Véran.
Eighteen additional deaths have been recorded since Thursday evening, and 154 patients are " still in serious condition ," according to the minister. In total, the number of patients infected in France since the end of January amounted to 3,661, against 2,876 Thursday evening.
