Beirut-Sana

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah condemned the American aggression against sites and installations of the Iraqi army, the popular crowd, and civilian facilities in Iraq.

And Mr. Nasrallah said in a speech today carried by Al-Manar TV that the crime committed by the American occupation forces is a violation of the sovereignty of Iraq, stressing that it will receive the appropriate answers from the Iraqi people.

Five Iraqi soldiers and a civilian were killed and others wounded in a new American aggression yesterday targeting Karbala airport in Najaf Governorate and a number of Iraqi army, police and popular mobilization sites in other regions of the country.

On the other hand, Nasrallah indicated that the Lebanese government announced its priorities for financial and economic rescue in the first place, indicating that it is holding intensive meetings and still needs time to implement its plan.

Mr. Nasrallah called on the banks in Lebanon to take the initiative and take responsibility by helping to prevent the financial collapse and also to face the repercussions of the spread of the Corona virus, explaining that the responsibility to confront this epidemic must be general and comprehensive.

And Nasrallah pointed out that fighting the Corona Virus "is like a battle that requires taking responsibility, avoiding politicization, settling accounts and adopting the principle of social solidarity."

Mr. Nasrallah added: “We do not mind any assistance to Lebanon within conditions as long as it does not violate the law and the constitution and does not violate the Lebanese interest.”
