Polling stations moved in the Munich district
Update, March 12, 3:19 p.m .: Polling stations are relocated in Aschheim due to the corona epidemic: Assisted living , primary school in Celts and Caritas children's house St. Emmeram at Uttastraße 61 are closed. These polling stations have been moved to the old town hall (extension), Ismaninger Straße 8. The municipality announced that polling stations and voting rooms are accessible. Also in Unterschleissheim , the polling station "Haus am Valentinspark" (voting district 4) is moved to the Therese-Giehse-Realschule .
The “Seniorenpark” polling station in Oberschleissheim (Electoral District 6) will also be moved to the “Schloßkinder” crèche , Prof. Otto-Hupp-Straße 38, a few steps away, with due regard for the residents.
Update, March 10, 11:04 am: The corona virus has also arrived in the Munich district , which is why the municipalities are upgrading their infection control during the election. Sufficient hand cleaning agents should be available in the polling stations. It is also allowed for voters to bring their own pens to the polling station . In general, the authorities recommend choosing hand hygiene and sneezing labels as well as keeping a distance of 1.5 to 2 meters from other people. "The municipalities are advised to put clearly visible notices on the relevant rules of conduct in the polling stations," reports the district office.

The cities of Garching and Unterschleißheim belong to the district of Munich , to the north the communities Oberschleissheim, Ismaning, Unterföhring, Aschheim, Kirchheim, Feldkirchen, Haar, Putzbrunn and Grasbrunn. In the south, the municipalities of Neubiberg, Ottobrunn, Hohenbrunn, Unterhaching, Taufkirchen, Brunnthal, Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn, Aying, Sauerlach, Oberhaching, Straßlach-Dingharting, Schäftlarn, Baierbrunn, Grünwald and Pullach belong to the district of Munich.

The previous incumbent is aiming for another term in the 2020 municipal election in the Munich district. Christoph Göbel (CSU) is the incumbent district administrator.
