Tragedy in Italy: The deadliest day since the outbreak of the country's corona epidemic was recorded on Wednesday, with about 475 deaths from the virus recorded nationwide. The number of infections increased by 4,207, the highest daily infections the country has seen.

The total death toll since the outbreak of Italy in Italy is 2,978. 4025 people have recovered from the disease and the total number of infections is 35,711. Italy is the country with the largest number of patients in the world after overtaking China last week.

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said today that the local government would consider extending the country's general civil blockade until after April, costing the local economy hundreds of millions of euros, the Italian newspaper La Stampa reported.

The US Bloomberg Network reports that a study in thousands of patients in Italy reveals that 98 percent of corona virus deaths had another chronic disease, most of them three or more chronic diseases.

Meanwhile, World Health Organization head Mike Ryan estimated today that the large number of deaths in Italy is due to the overcrowding of the local health system and the large percentage of the country's elderly population.
