First release: Thirteen Israelis embarking on cruises earlier this month from Brazil are now stranded on the ship in Lisbon, Portugal, after a short cut after sailing to Spain, where the state of the Corona spread is known to be one of the world's most dangerous.

In a conversation with Haim Weizman (75) from Kiryat Ata, who is on the ship, he says of the situation they encountered: "We were several thousand on the ship and dropped about two thousand, we left about two thousand people here in my opinion, and the whole group of Israelis, about 13 in the 65-75 age group "We are all among the populations at risk. We have been off the Lisbon coast for several days and will not let us get off the ship, and today we have also taken the rooms."

"We are already waiting in the morning in the showroom on the ship of the msc company, we have no rooms, we were told at first that we had a flight to Paris and then said the flight was canceled, later it turned out it was not canceled and given it to French citizens who were here on the ship, we could already return from France to Israel "We were later told that we had a flight to Germany and it was canceled as well, and that we had no response, no one would help us and no sign that we had a close flight to Israel," Weizman added.

The group left Israel on March 1 for a flight to Brazil, with the state of South America's corona spread very much started and many Israelis flew to the South and Central America, with the region looking like one of the only options for vacation abroad, after the Asian continent was closed due to the virus spread.

At the same time, several dozen Israelis are stranded in Laos after taking a trip a few months ago and are in a state of trying to leave the country and reach Israel through land or air borders, but without success.

"We booked some flights, all canceled, for all of us, it's just a mess what's going on here, you can't get out of Laos and at the same time a lot of places don't allow us to get in. A lot of hostels don't let us in. It's a very scary situation. The locals are very nice but they are scared of us And fleeing to the other side of the sidewalk when they see us because we are tourists and they are afraid of the spread of the virus. The health system is so terrible and horrible and you can't even check a doctor's fever, it's so bad. We don't have how to get out of here even though we have been trying for a while but now we really Helpless, the country is closing in on us, ”said one of the Israelis located in Wang Chan, the capital Country.

The Foreign Ministry is aware of both cases and is trying to help all those Israelis who are stuck abroad in complex situations. In the Foreign Ministry, they have established an IDF aimed at helping Israelis abroad.
