Stopped at eight o'clock in the evening today, Tuesday, public and private transportation between the governorates based on the decision taken by the Council of Ministers yesterday as part of precautionary measures to address the Corona virus and prevent its spread.
In a statement to SANA, a member of the Executive Bureau of the Transport and Communications Sector in Damascus Governorate, Mazen Dabbas, explained that the aim of the decision is to reduce gatherings in order to protect the safety of citizens and ensure the application of precautionary measures to address the Corona virus, stating that the stopping of the movement of transport will continue until 2-4-2020 unless a decision is issued to extend the suspension .
Dabbas referred to the delegation of the Traffic Director in Damascus to organize the tasks of running buses or minibuses by owners of establishments and laboratories whose work requires the continuation of the production process inside Damascus and its countryside until 2-4-2020.
And stopped at eight o'clock yesterday evening Monday, public and private mass transportation within the provinces as part of precautionary measures to address the emerging virus.
