The corona virus that has soon paralyzed the world is charging heavy prices in many countries, but beyond the direct damages of the virus which include high morbidity and mortality in some countries, dealing with it involves uncertainty.

Unlike most of the Jewish communities in the world who manage to adapt to the new situation and provide some response to their friends, the Jewish community in Italy - with emphasis on Rome and Milan - fails to keep up with the events. Jewish communities in the state count their dead, with the high numbers of the dead and sick also visiting them. "Everyone here knows a few patients with the virus and we do not have a few deceased and their families too. It's a terrible feeling of loss, anxiety and fear of the unknown future," says Eduardo Amati, a member of the Jewish community in Rome.

Because of the country's instructions, families are unable to move out of the house, and many are facing real living difficulties such as lack of food and medicine supplies, lack of basic goods, need of mental help, real anxiety about the economic future and more.

In addition, members of the Jewish communities in Italy are concerned that no one will worry about providing their families with the products for the upcoming Passover.

Due to the difficult situation in Italy and the desire to help the Jewish communities immediately, Kuzmatch, a social organizations startup, launched a campaign to collect donations from Jews around the world to the families of members of the Jewish communities in Rome and Milan. "Half a million euros, this is the amount needed to allow regular supplies of food, medicines and other necessities to these families - for the day and the upcoming Passover," says Bini Marilus Kozmatch, the campaign manager.

He said, "People tend to concentrate on each other at this time, but we must not forget those who are left helpless. And the Soldiers will be able to go through this difficult time. "

Despite the challenging period, he is convinced that the campaign will be highly responsive: "Even people who are facing difficulties themselves - will have a hard time not opening the pocket for such a vital and urgent need. We are one people whose every single commitment is not to let anyone fall."

Last night's campaign went on for several days to get as much money as possible
