The elite unit 13 is trying to help with the Corona crisis: Apart from sending soldiers and commanders from the cruise to distribute medicines and food for nursing homes in the northern region, the cruise is trying to help create containers with medical oxygen.

Since 13 fighter pilots with oxygen tanks came up with the idea of ​​converting the diving tanks into medical oxygen tanks used by people with breathing difficulties and nursing homes. On the cruise it was decided to establish a gas oxygen compression production system.

In the unit, they contacted Yad Sara and agreed between Col. D, the commanding officer, and Yad Sara's CEO, Moshe Cohen. The supplier is 400 containers a week. This will help those in need of medical oxygen, the second cycle of patients at risk. The cruise rescue organization also assisted in the compression of oxygen tanks.

Apart from the cruise development and supply, it provides logistical response and assists in transporting oxygen tanks as needed. In addition, the cruise will assist the issue to the Palestinians as well, via the CPC.

The elite unit produced a training video for converting medical oxygen containers with Italian and French English translations, and called on bodies in need of medical oxygen to contact them.
