The carnage is on the way: An 84-year-old woman was killed on Thursday evening by a car hit on Naftali Hertz Avenue in Be'er Sheva. According to an initial investigation into the incident, the woman crossed the road outside of the halfway crossing and was hit by a vehicle. The offending driver is being questioned by police. 

Paramedics arriving at the scene tried to give the woman medical treatment, but were forced to determine her death on the spot due to the severity of the wounds. MDA paramedic Dina Rizak said: "The woman was lying on the road unconscious. We performed medical examinations, she was without any signs of life, and we had nothing left to determine her death. "
