Two days ago, an agreement was signed between Blue and White and the Likud for the establishment of a national emergency government. • Upon the establishment of the government, it will be defined as a national emergency government for a period of six months and no legislation unrelated to the war in Corona will be adopted without consent. At the same time, a negotiating team will be set up to discuss the basic lines for the unity government that will be established upon the end of the Corona struggle.
• The incumbent prime minister will be allowed to bring to the government and the Knesset from July the Trump Declaration on the application of sovereignty, after holding an orderly process on the issue.
• A National Reconciliation Cabinet will be established.
It was also agreed between the parties that finance, health, home security, housing and construction, transport and education will be in the hands of the Likud party and its partners. Under the agreement, the defense, foreign, justice, media, cultural and economic portfolios will be owned by Blue and White and its partners. Knesset Speaker will be appointed by the Likud MK.
