An attack occurred this morning (Wednesday) at the Abu Dis Dis Kiosk Checkpoint when the Border Patrol officer, who was present at the checkpoint as part of his operational activities, was injured during a run-over and stabbing attack. The terrorist drove the vehicle up to the checkpoint and ran over one of the Border Fighters operating at the checkpoint. Then, the terrorist exited the vehicle and stabbed the fighter who was lightly and moderately wounded. 

The end of the attack came when the fighters who were on the scene carried out gunfire which resulted in the neutralization of the terrorist and probably his death. In the aftermath of the incident, a pipe charge was located and in the process, Border fighters closed the scene and a terrorist was called to the scene.

MDA senior medic Nir Buzaglo, who was present at the scene, said: "When I reached the checkpoint, a member of the security forces led me to a wounded man, a 20-year-old man who was fully conscious and suffered an injury to his upper body. I continued the medical care, we put it in the intensive care unit and it is in a mediocre and stable condition for continued hospital care. "
