The protest actions were renewed in a number of Lebanese regions today, calling for improving the living conditions and fighting corruption.

The National Media Agency stated that many protesters, including owners and restaurant workers in Tripoli, North Lebanon, implemented a demand stand today, during which they demanded that priority be given to improving the living situation in light of the high prices and due to the implementation of preventive health measures, stressing that their protests continue until the state responds to their demands.

The protests witnessed a number of roads being cut, including the main highway Halba, the Saad Nile Highway in the Bekaa, and the Tripoli Beirut Highway at the Palma Bridge in both directions.

The protests that took place at the end of last week in Tripoli, Beirut and Saida resulted in wounding more than twenty Lebanese soldiers, destroying a number of banks and burning some of them.
