Within a few hours, a Freising church fell victim to burglars for the second time. Is there a connection between the two cases?

The cemetery church St. Maria an der Kammergasse in Freising was broken into on Monday night. The police said Freising. According to the investigators, the perpetrator (s) broke an access door. Nothing was stolen, apparently, but the damage done was around 5000 euros. The police cannot yet say with certainty whether the incident is related to the intrusion into the Vöttingen church. The investigation is still ongoing. 

As reported, unknown people broke into the Vöttingen church at the weekend. The perpetrator smashed a window in the night of Sunday, got in and searched the premises for cash. A low double-digit euro amount was stolen, the police reported. The property damage caused, however, amounts to about 2000 euros.
