Coronavirus in France: 104 deaths in 24 hours, drop of 96 patients in intensive care

The Directorate General of Health delivered the daily assessment of the epidemic in France. Here are some figures to remember:

- Since March 1, 27,529 people have died from COVID-19 (+104), 17,342 deaths in hospitals and 10.1871 deaths in social and medico-social establishments.

-19,861 people are hospitalized for a COVID-19 infection and 438 new admissions were recorded in 24 hours. 2203 patients with a severe form of COVID-19 are hospitalized in intensive care. 64 new serious cases were admitted to intensive care. The balance remains negative in intensive care, with 96 patients of COVID-19 less compared to yesterday.

-4 regions (Île-de-France, Grand-Est, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Hauts-de-France) account for 72% of hospitalized cases. In overseas France (Guadeloupe, Guyana, Reunion, Martinique, Mayotte), there are 109 hospitalizations, including 23 in intensive care.

-Since the beginning of the epidemic, 98,192 people have been hospitalized, including more than 17,000 in intensive care. 60,448 people returned home
