(CNN Spanish) - Known for handling double meanings, satire and generally criticism of social injustices, the Mexican rock band Molotov presents the adaptation of the song "P ***" by "Together" with which they seek to recognize the work of doctors and health workers during the pandemic.

Through a press release, the band formed in 1995 announced that they are presenting the theme "Together", a proposal that seeks to generate a positive message about the difficult situation that society is going through today.

Together we will get ahead of this emergency, if we do not respect the sanitary measures that the circumstances demand, it will be useless all the time that we have been confined or away from normality. ”

“If we all take care of ourselves staying at home, leaving only for the most essential, taking all possible precautions, we will soon return little by little to our lives and jobs. Otherwise we run the risk that contagion will continue to increase until we reach the number of victims that we have seen in other countries, ”said Paco Ayala (bass, guitar, drums and vocals) in said statement.

"With 'Juntos' the gang signals the behavior of a part of society that disobeys social distancing measures and even, sadly, attacks doctors and health workers, the security forces that allow us to stay home, or suggest that the virus does not exist. His goal is that this message of union, conscience and mutual care spread as quickly as possible so that Mexicans - as well as the citizens of the world - can slow down the speed of propagation of this highly deadly historical pandemic. ”

To close the press release, the band affirms: "There is nothing more important than our health, and 'Together' reminds us that we have the power to rewrite this crucial moment in history, unite to change our reality and learn to respect ourselves, protect ourselves and become the same claim as the cry of TOGETHER! turn us into a single wall of resistance against irresponsible selfishness and disease. ”
