The situation in the Corona crisis has worsened somewhat over the past week. After new cases on Saturday and Sunday, there was none on Whit Monday.
Starnberg - The total number of corona cases since the beginning of the year in the district of Starnberg has not increased in recent days in the past few days on Whit Monday. It therefore remains at 553 cases.
Five new cases from Seefeld were reported on Sunday, which seem to be linked to an earlier case in the refugee accommodation there. Further tests are running there. However, details are not yet known.
The number of contact persons who have to remain in quarantine at home has increased significantly. On Monday, the number was given as 257, more than twice as many as last Thursday. The majority of the people in quarantine are in dormitories.

According to the latest figures from the district office, twelve people have to be treated in clinics in the district, six have to be ventilated. Where the patients come from is not known. The numbers fluctuate widely. So far, 13 people have died from or with the virus.
The seven-day value per 100,000 inhabitants, which is decisive for new or tightened restrictions, is currently 11.76 based on the figures. The limit is 35. Because of the delay in registration or registration in the systems, the figures from the State Office for Health and Food Safety and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) are sometimes different. On Sunday it was 11.02 at the state authorities and 11 at the RKI.
