The situation in the Corona crisis has worsened somewhat over the past week. Two cases were added on Wednesday, but only after the official figures were updated.

Starnberg - The total number of corona cases since the beginning of the year in the district of Starnberg has increased by two cases in the past few days on Wednesday in the past few days. There are now 556. However, the two cases only became known in the late afternoon and are therefore not yet included in the figures on the website of the district office.

The two cases came to light during series tests in the refugee accommodation in Seefeld. There are now eight cases there. Tests in a retirement home in the western district and a Pöckingen children's facility were consistently negative. Due to the rules of the Free State, the daycare remains closed until the end of the week.

The number of contact persons and people who tested positive, who have to remain in home quarantine, has increased. On Wednesday, their number was given as 302.
