Russia's Chief Rabbi Berl Lazar sticks in Corona and is under the supervision of doctors, his spokesperson for the Russian media said today (Sunday) 

For the sake of continual, they added that "his health is not worrying." It should be noted that in March, Rabbi Yitzhak Kogan was in charge of one of the largest synagogues in Moscow.

In recent times, Rabbi Lazar has been active in encouraging volunteering among the Jewish community for the needy. He supported the closure of synagogues across Russia, saying that public health is more important. Rabbi Lazar (56) was elected Chief Rabbi of Russia in 1999, closely associated with President Vladimir Putin and was even involved in the Naama Issachar affair and worked to release her from the Russian prison. 

Meanwhile, the Russian authorities said that the number of corona cases in Russia is officially 467,673 of which 226,731 have recovered and 5,859 died.
