Starting today, a special project - "The Jewish People in Corona" - will be published on the website "Israel Today". The project will include a series of articles on a variety of topics, and on how the Jewish world was affected by the Corona virus that spread throughout the globe, devoured the cards and also allowed us to rethink.
Among other things, the project will deal with the issue of Jewish education and identity, philanthropy during the crisis, the rise in the phenomenon of anti-Semitism and its transformation in the character of the ultra-Orthodox world. In addition, he will deal with Israel's role in these historic days, in Israel-Diaspora relations and in increasing the Jewish people's perception, the process of localizing Jewish communities and more.
The articles include references from world leaders, educators, national institutions, Diaspora experts and more.
The first series of articles will deal with education and Jewish identity in the shadow of the virus: the quest for a shared identity and the preferred modes of action among the factors of the Jewish world navigating the changing reality. Among other things, the rethinking of re-teaching (the results of "distance learning"), the impact of the cancellation of US summer camps on the role of youth, and what the messages of "World Jewish Class" should be at the touch of a finger.
