He was beaten and stabbed to death . It was a group of residents of the southern area of the capital of Tucumán who attacked him after accusing him of an attempted robbery .
Judicial sources reported on Monday that the victims were identified as Brian Alejandro Gerez.
According to sources, Gerez was intercepted by neighbors who came out to defend a person during an alleged assault attempt.

The alleged thieves were two, but while one of them fled and is wanted, it was Gerez who was hit by the neighbors: he received several stab wounds and beatings and suffered injuries to the head, neck and legs .
Gerez died at the scene of the attack, near Jujuy and Gaspar Lasalle avenues, in the south of San Miguel de Tucumán.
Judicial sources indicated that, according to the testimonies collected at the scene, Gerez had attended a party on Sunday night in the San Felipe neighborhood, in the south of the capital.
From there he went with another person on board a motorcycle. On that trip, both would have attempted to assault a man near the intersection of Avenida Jujuy and Gaspar Lasalle.
However, the victim resisted and it was the neighbors who, seeing what was happening, who came to his defense.
Given this, Gerez and his friend escaped aboard the motorcycle, but lost control and fell on the asphalt: it was then that several people attacked Gerez.
Investigators collected testimonies and conducted a survey of security cameras in the area in order to identify the participants in the attack, the spokesmen explained.
