At least 14 people were killed and 75 others wounded, including members of the military and security forces, in a dual terrorist attack in the southern Philippines.
"Seven soldiers, a policeman and six civilians were killed in the first attack when a booby-trapped motorcycle was detonated outside a supermarket in the Sulu area, while the second explosion occurred shortly after in the same street when a suicide bomber detonated herself while she was," AFP quoted Lieutenant General Corlito Finlano as saying. The police closed the site, wounding 48 civilians, 21 soldiers and six policemen.
Twenty-one people were killed and 71 others were injured in two bombings that targeted the southern Philippines church last year.
