A government spokesman said that from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., a total of about 152,000 citizens registered for sampling at community testing centers throughout Hong Kong.

At the same time, as of 8 o'clock this evening, the popularization program has completed 49,000 nucleic acid tests.

The spokesman said that samples that are initially positive will be reviewed by the Public Health Laboratory Service of the Department of Health to confirm the results, and confirmed cases will be followed up by the Centre for Health Protection and announced.

If calculated based on the 49,000 samples that have been quarantined, the current percentage of completed tests is 17%.

Zhang Zhujun, director of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Center for Health Protection, said at a regular press conference today that he has not received any positive confirmed cases found by the National Testing Program.

68 cases of misappropriation of other people's data have been referred to the police

Since the online appointment began on August 29, as of 8 pm today, a total of about 798,000 citizens have successfully made appointments for testing.

So far, the popularization project has received 122 cases of personal data being used by others to register for appointment.

After understanding, 68 of these cases were suspected to involve embezzlement of other people's personal data, which have been transferred to the police for processing.
