The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court today (Thursday) extended for eight days the house arrest of kindergarten workers in Holon suspected of abusing toddlers.
The facts were released last week under house arrest, despite police opposition.
Some of the parents of the children who were harmed by the suspects, the kindergarten owner and five assistants, came to the court hearing today and cursed the facts when they arrived at the scene, until the guards asked them to stop cursing.
At the beginning of the hearing, the police said that additional investigative actions should be taken in the case, including confrontations that should be carried out between the facts, and therefore asked to extend the detention for another two weeks.
Defense attorneys for the suspects sought to reduce the number of days the police sought to keep the facts under house arrest, and even release them.

Attorney Dorit Gitterman, representing the suspects, addressed the judge at the hearing and argued that the mask of threats and curses against the lawyers and the suspects should be stopped.
The judge agreed with her and told the parents' representative that although she understands their pain and that she is also a mother herself, the staff should still be properly treated and treated - as they claim violence against their children, so they are not expected to use violence against their suspects and defense attorneys.
As you may recall, the kindergarten facts were arrested about two weeks ago after the children's parents were exposed to video footage from the kindergarten, in which the suspects were seen harming their children.
A police spokesman claimed in one of the previous hearings that the incidents included violent incidents by the kindergarten staff, which included aggressive and violent discourse, pushing, slapping, strangulation, feeding, throwing toddlers, beatings, kicks, screaming, throwing and covering the children with blankets from foot to head.
In one case, one of the suspects was the one who fixed the blanket with her foot on the toddlers, so that they could not remove it themselves.
