The Ashkelon Magistrate's Court today (Tuesday) extended the detention of the two 27-year-old adults from Hadera, who are suspected of raping the girl in Eilat.

The detention is consensual until tomorrow, when an indictment will be filed against them.

The Be'er Sheva District Court overturned the decision to release the five minors involved in the rape of the 16-year-old girl from Ashkelon, and ordered that the two minors, the twin brothers from Moshav Belchish, remain in custody until tomorrow.

The court is likely to file the indictments against 10 or 11 suspects.

The prosecution at this stage tends to put everyone on one indictment, rather than disperse the suspects in multiple indictments.

This is to streamline the work of the prosecution.

Four of the suspects, the two adults from Hadera and the two twin brothers from Moshav Belchish, will be charged with rape. The rest will be charged with failure to prevent crime, aiding and abetting rape, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
