Following the announcement of red localities around the city of Nof HaGalil, the Nof City Council has decided on a number of restrictions in order to prevent the disease, even though it is a green city, with a relatively low morbidity rate.
As part of the restrictions decided upon, the municipal market will be closed from tomorrow until further notice, and the municipal parks will also be closed.
Enforcement of health regulations throughout the urban space will also be increased including the entry of inspectors into shops, businesses and writers throughout their hours of operation.
In addition, the city decided on targeted enforcement on public transportation, which includes the entry of inspectors into the buses.
A bus driver who is found without a mask will be fined NIS 5,000.
Mayor Ronen Plot turned to the heads of the neighboring localities for assistance in a joint effort to prevent the spread of the virus to the Galilee landscape.
The mayor told residents: "I am aware of the inconvenience of these decisions, but as long as the Galilee landscape is surrounded on all sides by red and orange localities it is our duty to take targeted preventive and enforcement action to keep the city green and healthy."
As you may recall, on Monday the closure will begin on about 30 red cities in order to reduce morbidity.
Tomorrow, the traffic light program will take effect, as part of which various restrictions will be imposed on localities depending on the level of morbidity in them.
