Sarah Netanyahu's lawyers issued a statement tonight (Tuesday) in which they wrote that they demand the cancellation of her conviction in the dormitory case.
Their demand comes against the background of the exposure of journalist Amit Segal, yesterday on News 12, regarding a conflict of interest on the part of her investigators.
According to a statement from Netanyahu's attorneys: "Yesterday, journalist Amit Segal dropped a bomb when he revealed that the senior investigator who investigated Sarah Netanyahu acted in a serious conflict of interest and was prevented from dealing with the case. The senior investigator lied to DIP ".
"Now it turns out that the investigator lied, and while leading the investigation against Ms. Netanyahu, he was in an intimate relationship with Judy Mozes, Noni Mozes' sister and a sworn enemy of the Netanyahu family. It also turned out that the prosecution knew the investigator was in a conflict of interest and hid it. "He tried to oust a witness, Svetlana Gorditsky, an employee of the prime minister's residence, and threatened her that if she did not give false testimony against the prime minister, he would send her to prison."
