The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, for its acronym in English), Robert Redfield, stated in a hearing before the Senate Health Committee in Washington that 90% of the population follows being susceptible to covid-19.
On the other hand, Redfield argued that the intent behind the controversial revision in the agency's testing guide was to engage the medical and public health community rather than limit them.
