The second presidential debate between Joe Biden, the Democratic candidate, and President Donald Trump, will be held for the first time virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic, in order to "protect the health and safety of all those involved" in the event, scheduled for October 15, as announced this Thursday by the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD, for its acronym in English).
The second presidential debate will be like a municipal meeting, in which
the candidates would participate from remote places,
according to the organization The participants and the moderator, Steve Scully, of the chain C-SPAN, will be located in the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
The team of reporters accompanying the president will cover the event.

The Democratic candidate said on Tuesday that the second presidential debate should not be held if Trump continued to be ill with coronavirus, however, the president already announced that he would participate.
This Thursday the first face-to-face between the candidates for the vice presidency, Democratic Senator Kamala Harris and Vice President Mike Pence, was held.
Unlike the first presidential debate, filled with interruptions and insults, this one was more civilized.
