The margin of victory for Democratic US presidential candidate Joe Biden over Republican President Donald Trump in the crucial state of Nevada has expanded to 12,000 votes.

The American New York Times stated that this result came after counting additional votes in Clark County in the state that has six votes from the electoral college, which will be sufficient for the Democratic candidate to win the elections if he is able to finally win them, given that he has already decided the states of Arizona, Michigan and Wisconsin.

In addition, Michigan state announced in preliminary results that Biden won by 50.60 percent, compared to Trump's 48.47 percent victory after counting 99 percent of the vote.

On the other hand, a US judge rejected a lawsuit filed by the Trump campaign to stop the counting of votes in Michigan.

State Claims Court Judge Cynthia Stevens issued the verdict orally during today's hearing and said she intends to issue a written judgment tomorrow.

In addition, the Belgian newspaper Le Soir considered that Trump will continue to "deepen the dangerous division and turn it into his own interest, and will continue to chase America and the world" whether he wins a second term or not.

The newspaper explained in its editorial today that the current US elections indicate that Trump, despite his lies, racism and practices, has succeeded in attracting a number of Americans who have remained attached to him even if he is not the next president of their country, and that Trump seeks to ensure his re-election even at the expense of institutions, laws and democratic values. .

The newspaper pointed to what it described as the "weakness of the democrats" who "were unable to bridge the deep rift between their citizens."

Le Soir concluded her editorial, "by painting a bleak picture of the future America. If Trump wins, he will continue to deepen the dangerous division and turn it into his favor. As for his rival Biden, even if he wins, he will not be able to unite the Americans because there is not enough support force or a real project in his camp."
