This partnership will allow departing passengers to make an appointment in a network laboratory or in an airport screening center, set up first at Paris-Orly and then the following week at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the group said. in a press release.

ADP however advises to anticipate the realization of his test in order to present himself at the airport while being already equipped with his negative Covid-19 screening test.

Tests to avoid quarantines

Antigenic tests, which perform less well than current PCR tests, do not require laboratory analysis, and the result can be known in 10 to 30 minutes.

Many countries still only recognize the validity of RT-PCR tests of less than 72 or 48 hours, for the admission of passengers from France.

The antigenic tests concern in priority the Overseas and the government already authorized on October 17 the use of the antigenic tests for the passengers traveling on the flights bound for the French departments and communities of Overseas, specifies the group.

For the antigenic tests carried out at the airport, passengers will receive a supporting document in hard copy at the end of their test to be presented upon boarding.

For RT-PCR tests, the result is sent to passengers electronically, by SMS or email, and can be viewed on the Cerballiance website within a maximum of 48 hours.

These antigenic tests and RT-PCR are currently covered by health insurance, including for foreign passengers or without affiliation to social security.

The air transport sector is strongly calling for the large-scale deployment of Covid-19 testing at airports to avoid quarantine measures on arrival.
