A 13-year-old minor, suspected of being at the origin of a large fire which had ravaged a warehouse on October 24 in Le Havre, was arrested and is "
being presented before the children's judge in Le Havre following the "fire of the premises of the company France Logistique
", indicated Friday, November 6 Cyrille Fournier, deputy prosecutor of Le Havre.

The public prosecutor's office of Le Havre will request his indictment of the count of willful destruction of property belonging to others by a dangerous means in this case a fire and will request his placement in a closed educational center
", added the magistrate.
The juvenile judge is however sovereign in his assessment of the qualification of the facts and the protective measures to be taken with regard to the minor, reminded Cyrille Fournier.
According to the Paris-Normandie daily, the boy explained that he entered the warehouse through a window with other minors, as they used to, smoked a cigarette and threw it in the warehouse or nearby.
Asked about this information, the prosecution did not respond.
According to the prefecture, 120,000 m3 of textile material and cardboard had burned.
The fire broke out on the 24th in the early afternoon and was only extinguished the next day around 8 p.m., according to firefighters.
