Aidling

you understand why St. Nicholas is not coming to visit anyone at home this year.

But that he doesn't even stop by the place?

That doesn't work either.

Fortunately, there is Marion Goldhofer in the village for these hardship cases in the corona year.

At St. Martin, she had the brilliant idea of illuminating the entire village street with lanterns and colored lights in the evening.

The Aidlingers found this festival really nice.

Marion Goldhofer came up with something about Nikolaus that can easily be reconciled with the hygiene rules.

Nikolaus was supposed to ride through Aidling on a horse, Krampus was supposed to pull a handcart and an angel should put small presents in front of the doors.

Everything completely contactless.

Last week, on Sunday evening, she drove quickly to Tobias Doll, rang the bell and said to him: "Tobi, I want a Santa Claus on a white horse." She let Doll sleep over it one night.

He said yes.

Yesterday afternoon the small group passed through Aidling.

The evening before, Marion Goldhofer had brought the volunteer and the horse, Uschi, a snack in a bag.

The next day, St. Nicholas distributed more than 20 parcels to the Aidling children in two hours.

He also scolded some of them a little - and once he had to recite a poem because a boy wanted it so badly.

At the end of the ride through the village, the Aidlingers made a small donation to Nicholas and his followers.

But they did not accept it, but donated it to the Hauner Children's Hospital.
