The fourth wave of local new crown pneumonia epidemic continued, with 112 confirmed cases added yesterday (10th).

The government added five more community testing centers this week, of which the testing center in Pak Tin Community Hall, Sham Shui Po, opened today (11th).

Citizens waiting in line for testing predict that the epidemic will not end this month, and the winter solstice meal can only be celebrated at home. They believe that the vaccine will be available in Hong Kong within a few months at the earliest.

Some citizens also said that if the test result is negative, they will return to their hometown to visit relatives and avoid the epidemic.

There was no queue at the Pak Tin Community Hall Testing Center in Sham Shui Po at 10 o'clock this morning. People who made an appointment can directly enter the center for testing.

After 11 o'clock, there were about 5 to 10 human dragons.

However, some citizens outside the district reported to reporters that the location of online maps such as Google Map is wrong, and the guidance outside the center is not clear, making them spend time finding their way.

Dozens of cases are "smaller than those from other places"

Mr. Wang, who lives in the Baitian area, said that the following winter solstice meal or Christmas celebrations will have the opportunity to contact the elderly, so he decided to test in order to protect them.

"There is no future in the future. I am more worried about the elderly and chronic patients."

He continued that everyone's goal is to clear cases and clear customs with the mainland, and believe that the government needs to block customs and intercept the source.

"If you don't live in the same mainland to pick up and return, there are actually dozens of cases and 100 cases. It's a little bit of a witch, compared to any other place in the world, in fact, we are so ordinary."

He predicts that the epidemic will not end this month, and the winter solstice meal can only be celebrated at home. He also believes that the vaccine will not be available in Hong Kong until the second quarter of next year at the earliest a few months.

"Before January, I thought there was no big chance for the government to relax."

Residents from Sha Tin moved to Bai Tin for testing

Mr. Wang, who lives in Hin Keng Village, Sha Tin, said that two people in the building where he lived recently were diagnosed with "good bacteria" and he was very worried about this.

The company also required a negative report before returning to work, so it went to Baitian for testing.

When asked why he didn’t choose non-appointment queuing, he described the testing center as a high-risk area, "No appointment? No, I don’t know how many people are walking in, and how long to wait, it’s a high-risk area."

Under the epidemic, the company shrinks its staff and looks forward to returning home to avoid the epidemic

Ms. Wang, who lives nearby, bluntly said that the epidemic was severely "shocked" and was worried and came to queue for non-appointment testing.

She pointed out that if the test result is negative, she will live in her hometown for a period of time.

"The family is dangerous. It is good to go back to the mainland to visit relatives." She also pointed out that the company has shortened its staff and has no jobs due to the epidemic, so she chose to go back to visit relatives and play.

Friends diagnosed and tested for peace of mind

Ms. Chen, who lives in Tsuen Wan and retired, said that the appointments for testing centers near Tsuen Wan are full, and she can only choose the nearest Pak Tin Community Testing Center.

Asked why she was eager to get tested, she said that a friend was diagnosed yesterday. Although she was not a close contact or a dancing group, she was still eager for peace of mind about the last meeting two weeks ago.
