At around 7:30 a.m. on New Year's Day, a passer-by found a male driver in a Tesla private car near the bus stop in Tso Wo Hang Village, Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung, and called the police.
The police did not seize the suicide note at the scene, but seized a charcoal stove and other exhibits for investigation.
It can be seen at the scene that "Happy New Year" was written on the roof of the Tesla car's trunk.
The driver of the private car, a 55-year-old foreign man, was sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital in a coma and was later certified dead.
The police are investigating the incident.
