The Russian health authorities recorded 506 deaths and 23,541 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The Russian Center for Epidemic Control stated in a statement that the total number of infections in the country reached 3332420, of which 60,457 died, while 2709,452 people recovered.
Yesterday, the Russian health authorities announced the vaccination of one million Russian citizens with the "Sputnik v" anti-Corona vaccine, as part of a comprehensive vaccination process in the country with the aim of eliminating the virus.
