Today, the Italian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 12,523 new infections and 448 new deaths from the Coronavirus in the country.
The ministry stated in a new statistic, according to what local media reported, that the number of cases recorded in Corona in Italy during the past twenty-four hours increased by 12523, bringing the total to 2289021.
The ministry added that it had detected 448 new deaths due to the epidemic, bringing the total number of Corona victims in the country to 79,203 deaths.
Italy is the eighth country in the world in terms of the outcome of infection with the Coronavirus, while the country has the sixth highest death toll from the disease.
