These are prolonged symptoms of the disease in patients already recovered from covid-19.
Some of the sequelae are shortness of breath, cough, pain in the joints, loss of smell or taste and memory problems.
The Mexican Institute of Social Security created specialized areas to help the rehabilitation of patients with these symptoms.
