XV of France: a member of the staff positive for Covid-19, the players in isolation

The French rugby players have been placed in solitary confinement after PCR tests revealed a case within the technical staff and another “suspicious and not proven” concerning the coach Fabien Galthié. They will still leave Marcoussis on Thursday. 


Barely enough time to celebrate Sunday's victory in Ireland (13-15) that bad news fell on the Blues.

The French Rugby Federation announced on Tuesday that following the PCR tests carried out on Monday in Marcoussis, a member of the staff of the XV of France tested positive for Covid-19.

In addition, the tricolor coach Fabien Galthié is "a suspicious and unproven case".

An additional test carried out at the National Rugby Center will be carried out on Wednesday morning for the entire selection.

Tests will be carried out at home on Friday, as well as on Sunday evening at the National Rugby Center during the rally, ”the FFR said in a statement.
