Passengers who landed this morning (Tuesday) at Ben Gurion Airport and were referred to isolation at a hotel in Jerusalem fled when the driver stopped.

One of the passengers and employees describe that the bus driver stopped about 200 meters from the Grand Court Hotel to which they were directed, and when he opened the doors, passengers fled.

According to a hotel employee, out of 21 passengers, 12 arrived, and the incident was reported to the police, who in turn announced that a report of isolation violations had been received in the area and the forces that arrived fined 13 people.

Ben Gurion Airport is still closed today, and in order to enter and leave Israel, an exceptions committee must be approved. Health, received approval from the Exceptions Committee to enter Israel after their flights were repeatedly postponed due to closure.

According to Oren, "The process is an impossible task.

We operated lots and lots of combos, and we are fully eligible by all the criteria, and we still had to beg. "He said that before the flight they checked the exceptions committee approvals, a negative check from the last 72 hours and a signed form of commitment to stay at the hotel.

Oren said that when they landed at Ben Gurion Airport this morning, they were checked again and directed to the bus together with the other passengers. There was almost no mask on the bus, and the bus was almost full. "

On the bus, which was on its way to the Grand Court Hotel used for isolation, were the passengers and the driver. Oren describes that the driver did not know exactly the way, and passengers told him to stop. 5 people just took the bags and just ran away.

An employee at a nearby hotel who saw the incident also said that as soon as the driver opened the doors without a permit, some of the passengers fled.

"I called the Home Front Command and also saw a vehicle coming. The problem is that the driver dropped them off on the road and some fled," the employee said.

"When I saw him I said to him 'What are you doing? You can't take them out, you need to get permission from the commander.'

The same employee explained that isolates often leave the hotel and receive a fine in response.

"Even today, someone left, and they receive a report of ten thousand shekels. If they catch him again that he is not in solitary confinement, he will receive another fine."

Earlier this week, the Corona Cabinet approved an outline for the reopening of Ben Gurion Airport. According to the outline, the airport will receive up to 2,000 incoming passengers a day; the Ministry of Transportation will allow a combination of foreign airlines "third;

The Ministry of Health will be prepared to respond to inquiries to the Exceptions Committee and the Ministry of Defense will be prepared to respond to isolators who need a place in hotels.
