Today, the Iraqi Ministry of Health announced the registration of 4,024 new infections and 12 deaths from the Coronavirus across the country's governorates.
The ministry stated that the total number of injuries in the country rose to 661,477 injuries, while the total deaths reached 13,232.
In a statement by a member of the medical team supporting the ministry, Ruba Falah, reported by Alsumaria News, the ministry warned that "the jump that was recorded today in the number of pandemic infections is a serious indicator that may return the country to the period it witnessed at the beginning of the pandemic."
For its part, Saudi Arabia today recorded 4 deaths and 337 new cases of the virus during the past 24 hours, which brings the general number of infections to 374,366 and deaths to 6,454 cases.
