Hamas announced last week the re-election of Yahya Sinouar as head of its political office in this Palestinian enclave overpopulated with two million inhabitants and under Israeli blockade.
He unveiled this Sunday the identity of the 20 members of his political bureau at the end of internal polls conducted in the run-up to the first general elections - legislative in May, presidential in July - scheduled in 15 years in the Palestinian Territories.
Among them are two women, Jamila Chanti and Fatima Chourab, herself president of the Women's Commission, according to the official list consulted by AFP.
